About the WEM Demand Side Programme v1 API
The Demand Side Programme (DSP) API provides Market Participants with information pertaining to DSP Schedules under Section 7.8A: DSP Schedules and DSP Dispatch Instructions under Section 7.6: Dispatch Instructions of the WEM Rules.
DSP Schedules are published in accordance with clause 7.8A.2
DSP Dispatch Instructions are manually issued by AEMO in accordance with clause 7.6.5B and the full DSP dispatch process is documented in the WEM Procedure: Facility Dispatch Process. In addition to the retrieval of DSP Dispatch Instructions, Market Participants can acknowledge Dispatch Instructions via a dedicated POST endpoint.

Non-functional requirements
The following provisional non-functional requirements (NFR) are relevant to this API. These may be revised in subsequent versions following consultation with Market Participants.
Request/response payload required limits:
For all APIs, there is an enforced 10 MB max limit.
Rate Limits (Throttling) applied per user:
An individual user is restricted to accessing 50 calls to this API every minute, with a total of 250 calls in five minutes.
